If you're new to these parts, then hello! I'm Anna; otherwise known as The Library Faerie. I am a geeky, crafty artist, writer, and bookworm. I am a mom and a children's librarian. I craft from time to time, occasionally selling my crafts on Etsy. My future ambition is to one day publish children's novels and picture books. The primary loves of my life are Star Wars, Harry Potter, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, mint chocolate chip anything, my husband, my daughter Avery, and my two bratty little dogs. But not in that order. Obviously Avery comes first and mint chocolate chip comes second.
If you're old to these parts, you'll notice something is missing--all my old posts! Because this blog has been here since, like, January of 2012, which would make the blog, like, nearly four years old. But, alas, I've decided to wipe the slate clean and get a fresh start. I've been known to do that from time to time.
What can you expect to see on The Library Faerie going forward? If I'm being honest here, probably infrequent posts, but I'll try to keep them interesting. Deal? I've got some changes and new ideas in the works, for starters, and I plan to share some on all that here. And in the original spirit of The Library Faerie, of course you can expect to see me share about books...as well as the broader yet related realms of geekery, art, crafts, writing, and all that.
So, that's about it for now. Just saying hello and letting you know you can expect a bit of a refresh around here! Happy holidays and I'll be back soon!
